A tribute concert to the finest music and songs from the masterpieces of Japanese animation. Films by Hayao Miyazaki (PRINCESSE MONONOKE, TOTORO, CHIHIRO, PORCO ROSSO, LE CHATEAU AMBULANT...) Studio Ghibli (LE TOMBEAU DES LUCIOLES, ARRIETTY, SOUVENIRS DE MARNIE...) and other masterpieces (AKIRA, YOUR NAME, GHOST IN THE SHELL, PAPRIKA, LES ENFANTS LOUPS...). A journey and a rare bubble of emotion, at the heart of the musical universe of Joe Hisaishi, and of all the composers who worked on these masterpieces of Japanese animation.
Neko Light Orchestra is a collective of 25 musicians and composers, founded in Toulouse in 2011.
A melodic rock orchestra specializing in reinterpretations of music from the Cultures of the Imaginary.
The group's music is drawn from science fiction and fantasy worlds such as Lord of the Rings, Game of Thrones, Hayao Miyazaki's animated films... Founded by Nicolas Chaccour, the collective quickly took on the form of a rock band "that thinks it's an orchestra" and reinterprets a wide range of music, always with a view to creating original versions.
After debuting at "Cultures de L'Imaginaire" and "geek" conventions, the group quickly found its place in movie theaters and then in the finest concert halls in France and abroad.
After 300 concerts and 300,000 spectators, the group continues to cultivate its singularity, always with great success with the public.
