It's no illusion: the Festival is organizing its 18th edition, and the team is working hard to prepare a season worthy of the finest anniversaries. Mystery... the extraordinary... poetry... humor... in a word: Magic! Created in France (in Rennes, Brittany), the Festival International de Magie has gradually become the benchmark of its kind in the cultural landscape, thanks to a demanding, high-quality program featuring magic artists who are far from clichés and proud representatives of the different magical currents in the illusionist family. Since 2008, audiences have once again shown their interest in magic. A dash of fantasy, two pinches of madness and a whole lot of magic! Far from facile images, the entire Festival team has a real desire to take a fresh look at the art of magic, offering poetic and astonishing acts that reveal a more contemporary and elegant kind of magic! The Festival makes a point of bringing together the popular and intergenerational dimensions of magic. Since 2008, every year is an invitation to discover the greatest magicians of the moment, and the latest trends in this age-old art, from Japan, Russia, Spain, England, South Korea and France, of course!
