LA ONZIÈME FOLIE, LYNDA LEMAY's new show.
Lynda Lemay's tale of madness has a new look, a new head. Her show "La vie est un conte de fous" has been transformed. In LA ONZIÈME FOLIE, we still find the same Lynda, the same freedom, the same musicians on stage.
And yet, the journey to the heart of life takes different paths. It's the same intensity of new feelings, of emotions that find a way to be stronger than ever. It's the same roller-coaster ride on a brand-new merry-go-round. The lights, mastered by Pierre Roy for decades, show us all their splendor, and the sound, provided by a prodigy in the field, glues the instruments to our hearts and Lynda's voice to our guts. It's all about the same world, but in a different light. Lynda renews her interpretations, pushes improvisation even further, gets carried away, laughs and gets married repeatedly with her faithful audience. On piano, guitar and backing vocals, warm-hearted Claude Pineault spontaneously creates miraculous arrangements. Ditto for Marc Angers, who undulates, vibrant with emotion, his chin on his magic violin. LA ONZIÈME FOLIE coincides with Lynda à vie's eleventh concert tour. Eleven is definitely lucky.
