Welcome to Croccante, your artisanal pizzeria and Italian restaurant in Angers, specializing in light, crispy Roman pizzas à la part and a "fritta" pizza, fried in a hot oil bath. Prepared with fresh Italian produce, our recipes are homemade and available on site or to take away. In addition to pizzas, explore our shareable antipasti, pasta dishes, homemade desserts and discover our carefully selected Italian wine list. Whether you're looking for a quick lunch or a cosy dinner, we've got something for vegetarians too!

Our "Pizzas in teglia romana" are made with semi-complete Italian flour, matured after 48 hours. So they're easy to digest, light, crunchy and soft to the core!
As for "Pizza fritta", this Neapolitan specialty is baked in an oil bath, and can be stuffed like a calzone, or not. This specialty takes us on a journey to Hungary, the typical dish of Chef Roland's homeland. It's a nod on his part to create a link between his native country and the land of his heart.
