Join us downtown on Wednesday, July 13, to celebrate the Fête nationale!
Fête nationale celebrations kick off at 7pm, with a concert by the Angers town band in the Jardin du Mail, on the theme of "Voyages lointains".
At 9pm, the parade takes place in Place Leclerc, before a parade at 9:30pm in Avenue Jeanne-d'Arc, accompanied by the military band.
Then, at 11pm, the traditional fireworks display will take place on the River Maine, on the theme of "Angers, light and water". To see the fireworks, the public is invited to stand on the right bank, near Quai Tabarly.
New this year: the firemen's ball will take place on Place de l'Académie, from 6 p.m. until late evening.
