Max Zita, born in Guadeloupe, began music at the age of 4 in the choir directed by his father. At 16, he founded the "Pléiades" gospel choir. After studying musicology in Paris, he became a teacher. In 1987, he founded "Gospel Voices", a gospel pioneer in France, and launched the "Gospel pour 100 Voix" project in 1998, a huge success.
