Chef Alex Tessier, former boss of the popular Goût du Jour, and Emmanuelle Moulié, talented pastry chef and best up-and-coming pastry talent in the West by Gault & Millau in 2021, have set up shop not far from Angers station. The restaurant quickly made a name for itself, as much for the chef’s famous pâté croute as for the “Very, very lemony” and “All chocolate” desserts from the pastry chef. Recommended by Michelin and Gault & Millau, this friendly bistro is recognised for the generosity and great taste of its dishes and desserts, which puts dusted down recipes back in centre stage. Like calf’s head with gribiche sauce, homemade sausage with mashed potatoes or kouign-amann salted butter caramel. But the creativity of these two great talents doesn't stop with the classics, and we can only recommend that you book a lunch or evening slot to check it out for yourself. Please note: an extensive wine list very focused on high-quality nature, with very well chosen references.
