Learn to identify wild medicinal plants with unexpected virtues, for the completely safe preparation of herbal teas, poultices and macerates. This in-situ course takes the form of a countryside walk in idyllic surroundings just a kilometre from Angers. Goal of the course - learn to identify medicinal plants - Learn how to identify trees and wild flowers for use in the completely safe preparation of herbal teas, poultices or macerates, during a four to five kilometre walk on a beautifully shaded path along the banks of the river Sarthe. - Discover medicinal plant varieties - Learn to identify new wild plants in Anjou - Learn about ancestral uses of trees from the Middle ages to today - Study the properties of a selection of wild flowers - Taste herbal teas during the break. This is a much appreciated moment when you can ask any questions you have. You will go away with the plants you have foraged so that you can create your own herbarium. Don't forget to bring a basket, notebook, closed shoes and your camera. This is a relaxing and revitalising course, where you'll reconnect with nature in the company of others.
