The "Théâtre de l'Extrême" troupe returns to the château du Plessis-Macé with a brand new adaptation of a classic play: Jean Giraudoux's La Guerre de Troie n'aura pas lieu.
Pâris no longer loves Hélène, and Hélène has lost her taste for Pâris, but Troy will not return the captive. For all the men in the city, "there is nothing but Hélène's step, Hélène's cubit, the range of Hélène's gaze or voice", and the augurs themselves refuse to let her go. Hector, for Troy, and Ulysses, for Greece, try at all costs to save the peace. But war is a matter of fate, not of human will. The Trojan War will take place.
