Stage 3 of the Tour de France Femmes will run from La Gacilly in Morbihan to Angers on Monday, July 28, following a 162 km route. The peloton will arrive in Maine-et-Loire via Saint-Michel-et-Chanveaux, before crossing Challain-la-Potherie, Loiré, Chazé-sur-Argos, Vern-d'Anjou, Brain-sur-Longuenée, Longuenée-en-Anjou, Montreuil-Juigné, Feneu, Cantenay-Épinard and Avrillé.
The finish will be at Place Bichon in Angers.
Numerous activities are planned before and during the event (details on the angers.fr website).
Entertainment village at the Parvis du Quai from 2pm to 6pm: sports workshops (BMX initiation, climbing, badminton...), culinary stands (hot and cold coffees and drinks, snacks...), solidarity stand, giant screen for live broadcasting of the 3rd stage of the Tour de France Femmes, tourism stands.
Festive parade with stilt-walkers, banda and BMX demonstrations.
4:30pm: Arrival of the publicity caravan.
Official ceremony at 5:45pm.
The day before the Tour arrives in Angers, an "Angers fête le Tour" bike ride. A 19 km bike ride for the whole family, punctuated by sporting and musical events along the way (details to follow, ticket sales open June 1).
