Where to fill your water bottle in Angers?

Gourde Friendly

Places in Angers to fill your water bottle

Nowadays, many of us carry a water bottle in our bag for hot weather or just to have water to hand.

But once it’s empty, we don’t know where to refill it! And rather than buying a plastic bottle, which isn’t very environmentally friendly, here’s a site that lists all the #gourdefriendly places.

Did you know?

Global plastic production has risen from 1.5 million tonnes in 1950 to almost 370 million tonnes in 2019. Most of this waste, particularly bottles, ends up in the oceans or the environment.

This map lists all the public fountains and water points, so you can fill up your drinking water container free of charge.

Choose the nearest point and go and fill your water bottle!

These water points are accessible to everyone and form part of Angers’ responsible tourism commitment, which has been awarded the Innovative and Sustainable Destination label since 2023.

The aim of this eco-responsible approach is to promote the consumption of tap water, facilitate the use of water bottles and increase the number of drinking water access points.

A small, simple act to help protect our planet and reduce our consumption of plastic. #angersvilleverte
