THE LEGEND OF MONTE-CRISTO, THE MUSICAL 1815, Edmond Dantès, a young captain, is framed and unjustly imprisoned on the evening of his engagement to the beautiful Mercédès, in the jails of the Château d'If off the coast of Marseille. After fourteen years in captivity, he manages to escape, and his adventure leads him to the hidden treasure on the island of Monte Cristo. He begins a new life as the Count of Monte Cristo. Now rich and powerful, but having lost the love of his life, Dantès is determined to exact his revenge by making those who sent him to prison pay... "La Légende de Monte-Cristo, le Musical" is a musical comedy adaptation of Alexandre Dumas' masterpiece, and will be the event of the year 2026. With GJON'S TEARS as DANTES and PHILIPPINE LAVREY as MERCEDES, and over twenty performers on stage, this show, directed by SERGE POSTIGO, will thrill audiences with its fabulous songs, choreography and sets.
