The Angers Horse Show is committed to sustainable development and has been awarded the EquuRES label, which promotes sustainable practices in the equine industry and animal welfare.
After being awarded the “commitment” label in 2024, the show is continuing to improve its facilities: 12 m² boxes for greater equine comfort, no carpeting in the aisles, wooden signs, local suppliers for hay and straw, waste sorting, recycling of over 1,200 tonnes of sand and composting of manure.
Exhibitors, restaurateurs and visitors will be given information on best practice to encourage sorting, the use of environmentally-friendly transport and car-sharing.
