Since its opening, Lait Thym Sel has carved out a place for itself on the culinary landscape of Anjou. And its early success has been confirmed over the years, with the crowning of a Michelin star in 2019. Gourmets make no mistake: a dinner concocted by chef Gaëtan Morvan - who has worked in the kitchens of such famous Michelin-starred establishments as Laurent Saudeau's Manoir de la Boulaye near Nantes - is a unique experience. In a series of 4 to 9 "étincelles", the different menus showcase the subtle, precise skills of a chef who masters the assembly of ingredients and the balance of flavors to perfection. His "étincelles" are real bombs of inventiveness and unexpectedness! His partner and accomplice Fanny Morvan, who has also worked in top hotels around the world, officiates with talent in the warmly decorated, contemporary dining room. As for drinks, the Mets & Découvertes pairing, particularly non-alcoholic, is well worth the detour: here, all drinks are created using extraction, distillation, elixirs or infusions, to harmonize with the dishes. Definitely one of Angers' finest restaurants!
