Le Kiviv is just 15 minutes north of Angers, in a completely natural setting, separated from the Sarthe river only by a play area and picnic area. Open all year round, it has a terrace for fine weather and an indoor space which was once a bowls hall for the traditional game “boule de fort”. This real place of life has a friendly and laid-back atmosphere and, in addition to a bar and restaurant, it offers weekly concerts, exhibitions, a shop selling local and hand-made products, board games, creative workshops for all ages, a B&B and more.
As for the cuisine, the dishes on the blackboard are constantly changing. You’ll find both traditional and more exotic choices, including bruschetta style toasts, all of which are homemade from local, in-season products. A vegetarian option is always available, too.
