Le Mail underwent a complete makeover in 2021, and the result is a feast for the eyes. Located in the exceptional setting of the Mail garden, between Boulevard Foch and Avenue Jeanne d’Arc, the restaurant opens onto the outside with large windows and a huge conservatory-come-terrace. This setting, which is particularly magical at Christmas time or in summer, now boasts a cosy décor with velvet textiles, warm colours and hanging plants that blend in with the haven of greenery in the garden. But what about the food? The cuisine is semi-gastronomic with classic bistro dishes, seafood and innovative creations.
Among the dishes offered, we love the Muscovy duck fillet, with a thyme infused jus and assorted types of potatoes or the pike-perch tournedos and wild rice, seasonal veg and a drop of beurre blanc, almost as much as its take on lemon pie with a creamy yuzu and lemon topping, a shortbread base and lime espuma. The team even offers an in-home catering service for cocktail parties.
