Just a stone's throw from the Loire River and its Loire à vélo circuit, the Resto du jardin café-restaurant is adjacent to Jardin de l'avenir, an organic and U-pick store in Sainte-Gemmes-sur-Loire. Designed as a place to meet, relax or even cowork, the establishment is open from early morning, for a drink, snack or lunch, on the spot or to take away. In fine weather, the peaceful terrace is a must for soaking up the sun while enjoying iced tea and a waffle in this haven of greenery! Every lunchtime, the restaurant offers organic, seasonal and (very!) short-run cuisine, based on produce grown in the on-site kitchen garden. It doesn't get much more local than that! The menu changes weekly, and includes two vegetarian dishes. All this is done by the team with an anti-waste approach. On Wednesdays, children's activities are organized to introduce them to the vegetables grown in the garden.
