Moulin de Chauvigné is run by Sylvie and her daughter Manon, a dedicated female wine-producing duo that practice sustainable and integrated winegrowing. Their daring approach has led to excellence and their environmental practices were recognised in 2019 when they quite naturally obtained the HVE certification for High Environmental Value.
All of this loving care results in fine grapes. Sylvie’s winemaking produces wines that reflect each terroir superbly.
Sylvie and her daughters welcome visitors to discover their wines in the inviting setting of Moulin de Chauvigné. You’ll discover their passion for winegrowing and their exciting Spirituelles, Intemporelles and Originelles wine collections.
The estate’s Sensoristic Trail is unique in the Loire Valley and offers a relaxing vineyard stroll.
While exploring a magnificent vineyard set in superb scenery, you’ll discover the art of ampelography (the science of identifying and classifying grape varieties), whose name originates from the merging of two Greek words: ampelos (vine) and graphein (to write).
