Château d'Epiré is one of the oldest vineyards in the Savennières appellation. Owned by the Bizard family since 1882, Paul represents the fifth generation of winemakers. The vineyard covers 10 hectares, all dedicated to the production of Savennières. The plots are located near the château along the Loire River. The wine will be certified organic starting with the 2025 harvest. We age the wine in a 12th-century church that was converted into a wine cellar in 1906. We welcome you to a tasting room above the cellar in the church. We look forward to sharing our passion for wine and the terroir with you. Excessive alcohol consumption is harmful to your health. Please drink responsibly. Additional information: Tour of the wine cellar in the former church followed by a guided wine tasting, available year-round: 45 min – 7 euros/person (no minimum). Includes a tour of the vineyard: 1 hour 30 minutes – 20 euros per person (by reservation, minimum 4 people). Free tasting available with purchase, no reservation required.
