Like the Père-Lachaise cemetery in Paris, the cemetery in eastern Angers is a place of remembrance, set in an English-style park with tall trees and a maze of winding paths. This place of remembrance is also a heritage site, with numerous funerary monuments testifying to the artistic styles developed during the 19th and 20th centuries. On this guided tour, you'll discover the graves of some of Angevine's most famous figures, including Jules-Eugène Lenepveu and the mosaic tomb of the De Guisti family.
