    Angers and the surrounding area, with its rich confluence of landscapes, are sometimes subject to flooding. Some paths may be temporarily impassable, so please remain vigilant.

    The Rochefoulques ferry is operational from April 9.
The Loir Valley by bike
320 km including 31 km in the Angers area

The route starts at the source of the Loir (Saint-Éman in Eure-et-Loir) and ends in Angers, at the crossroads of major cycle routes (Loire à Vélo and Vélo Francette). From Angers, you can take a temporary itinerary of this signposted cycle route as far as Villevêque (commune déléguée de Rives-du-Loir-en-Anjou), crossing part of the Basses vallées angevines.
This Véloroute winds its way along the Vallée du Loir, from the meandering river between Beauce and Perce to the banks of the Loire. The Vallée du Loir à vélo passes through undulating landscapes dotted with charming villages criss-crossed by the Loir.

Discover this 320 km-long cycling route, with numerous services on offer nearby: campsites, hotels, Accueil Vélo gîtes. You can also reach the Loir Valley by bike itinerary by train from Paris, as well as from various points along the way.

- L'Engrenage-moulin, which has been generating electricity on the Loir for 800 years, in the commune of Villevêque (commune déléguée de Rives-du-Loir-Anjou).
