    The route follows the Mayenne towpath between Longuenée-en-Anjou and Angers, then continues parallel to the Loire à Vélo itinerary between Angers and Loire Authion. After the landscapes of the Basses vallées angevines, among the most exceptional wet meadows in Europe, you'll cycle along the smallest river in Anjou, the Maine (7 km) in the heart of Angers, then along the royal river from Bouchemaine onwards to Sainte-Gemmes-sur-Loire, Les Ponts-de-Cé and Loire-Authion.
    Departing from the English Channel and descending to the Atlantic, the Vélo Francette offers magnificent scenery across Normandy, Pays de la Loire and part of Nouvelle-Aquitaine and Poitou-Charentes.
