Description
For its next production, the Blue Lava dance company—founded and based in Angers—is embarking on a new phase of choreographic research in collaboration with the Galerie David in Angers, where an initial week of work in residence will kick off the creative process.
In this context, Alina and Lucas will seek inspiration for movement from the works on display in various forms—paintings, sculptures, and objects—as well as from everything that passes through the museum space and its surroundings, including living beings, the passage of time, and unexpected situations. The museum, as a place that preserves a part of history, becomes for them a playground and a space for transformation, where dance can create situations capable of shifting our perspective and altering our perception of what seems frozen or too rigid. Dance possesses this power to revitalize our relationship with the world.
