This summer marks the grand return of the nighttime show at the Château du Plessis-Macé, and this year features an all-new story! As war rages, the Château du Plessis-Macé protects its people, standing firm behind its mighty schist walls. It knows how to fend off sword blows, crossbow bolts, and spears. But when a handshake, a sigh, or a simple kiss become threats, the danger grows even greater… Every Thursday, from July 16 to August 27, wander through the inner courtyard of the Château du Plessis-Macé as you follow a story that is as moving as it is enlightening, tinged with moments that are both epic and poetic. Bringing together professional actors, castle guides, volunteer extras, and riders from the Olisun estate—all enhanced by poetic lighting—this performance transforms each of the building’s outdoor spaces and has already captivated thousands of spectators over the past two seasons.
