Description
As part of its summer program, the Château du Plessis-Macé will be hosting Blue Mexico: entre le bleu du ciel et celui de l'océan, an exhibition by wildlife photographer Fabrice Guérin.
"Whether on land or underwater, Nature has some great moments and surprises in store for us. I've had the privilege of observing it for years, and I'm always amazed by the biodiversity that is essential to life on Earth. Unfortunately, I am also a witness to the degradation of our environment: climate change, overfishing, pollution, poaching... all the damage we are inflicting on Nature. We've reached a stage where there are multiple emergencies. Man remains and will remain solely responsible for the state of our planet.
A collective awareness is now underway, and everyone is participating, in their own way, in the preservation of this biodiversity. For my part, I have chosen to raise public awareness through images: to share with you [...] the most beautiful underwater animal encounters I have had to date."
