Description
From Place de la Gare to Place Giffard-Langevin via the footbridge, the arrival of the railroad marked the birth of this neighborhood. A number of charming buildings remain from this period. But the bombings of World War 2 necessitated a 1st reconstruction of the infrastructure, and contemporary times have transformed this working-class district into a business district. In front, inside and behind, the station tells the story of the city's economic development.
