Description
Come and visit the department's largest ground-mounted solar power plant! Due for commissioning at the end of 2019, the photovoltaic power plant will generate 11,000 megawatt-hours a year, equivalent to the consumption of 4,000 homes (excluding heating).
This one-hour guided tour will raise your awareness of renewable energies and introduce you to the people involved in the project, the site and how it works. You'll walk between the photovoltaic panels, and may even come across some Sologne sheep, in charge of eco-pasture maintenance!
