Description
For this project, “Humain au silex,” Elodie Verdier presents a series of drawings she began during the 2020 lockdown, which expands on a central theme she has been exploring since the start of her research on the body: that of the fetus and of origins. Each drawing depicts a visual and intuitive dialogue between a body and a flint—an object she has been studying since late 2022, drawing on the collection of carved stones at the Angers Museum of Natural Sciences.
