Carlota Sandoval-Lizzaralde is the winner of the 6th Ville d'Angers visual arts residency. Originally from Colombia, her work explores, through drawing, the mutations, crossbreeding and hybridizations born of displacement. For her residency in Angers, the artist chose to work on the potato: solanum tuberosum. This exploration resulted in the production of nine pastel works which will be exhibited in the room dedicated to contemporary creation.
