Description
For its 5th edition, the association “Les Amis de la Batellerie Angevine” invites you to “L’Anjou, fête le port” at Cale de la Savatte in Angers for a family-friendly event with free admission for all.
Come browse the market and flea market at the Port Festival, where over 70 vendors will be present. Moored at the dock, traditional Loire boats will welcome you for a tour, and you can also embark on a 30-minute cruise on the Maine River for €5 per person (free for children under 5).
Enjoy a fun-filled day of music and festivities in the open air, featuring concerts, dance performances, and a raft race on the Maine River starting from Quai Monges.
The day will also feature activities for young and old sailors alike: remote-controlled boat demonstrations, a fishbowl toss, and a raffle with tickets for €2 each, with an electric scooter as the prize. We’ll wrap up the festivities with a nautical parade.
Food and drinks will be available at the many bars and restaurants in the harbor area, which are partners of the event.
