May 8 will see the third edition of our not-to-be-missed day devoted to the equestrian world: "The castle unleashes the horses!" As in the two previous years, this event will combine history, sport, heritage and art, to the delight of neophytes, amateurs and initiates alike. In the UK and Ireland, Point-to-point races - horse races for young horses to prove themselves, or for mounts at the end of their careers - were traditionally held on farms or large fields. On May 8, throughout the afternoon, amateur riders aged 8 to 15 will take to the racecourse created for the occasion in the field around the château to compete in a series of wild races. Also on the program: a fairground derby, pony baptisms, horse-related demonstrations and mediation, a fantastic ride, stick horse initiations, an acrobatics show and plenty of other entertainment!
