Les Accroche-Cœurs Festival

A street arts festival and a must-attend back-to-school celebration for the people of Angers, the Accroche-cœurs returns for its 26th edition the weekend of September 11–13, 2026! Free and open to all, this event transforms Angers into an open-air stage for a weekend of magic and joy. More than 300 artists will take over the city’s streets, squares, and gardens, performing up close with the audience or suspended in the air. Street theater, circus, dance, music, and installations will come together to create a vibrant artistic journey featuring around 100 performances and some 40 shows. Embark on this journey wearing your finest hat—whether it’s a top hat, Panama hat, sombrero, beret, bucket hat, baseball cap, or something truly unique.... the festival’s dress code.
