This final ‘Toutes voix dehors’ concert explores the many obstacles faced by those who wish to see their love triumph: absence, separation, doubt and uncertainty, mirroring Jules Massenet’s opera *Werther*… These numerous torments have given rise to splendid operatic passages, ranging from lamentation to dreamy, melancholic ecstasy. This concert offers the chance to hear these pieces performed by the Angers Nantes Opéra choir, accompanied by three soloists, featuring works by Georges Bizet, Giacomo Puccini, Charles Gounod, Léo Delibes, Jacques Offenbach, and also the French composer Clémence de Grandval. Recommended for ages 6 and over. Offered as an inclusive performance.
