Description
The Petit Anjou Museum and the Urban Sketchers association invite you to spend a day exploring heritage, painting, writing, and drawing. Come spread out a blanket and enjoy a picnic with the association’s volunteers. Painters will be on hand all day to capture the vehicles, buildings, and atmosphere of the train station in their sketchbooks or on their easels. Upon request, they can sketch your portrait. A painting workshop will be available for children. The museum will offer a writing workshop for all ages. A few selected short stories may be featured in our quarterly newsletter. At 4:00 p.m., there will be an exhibition of the works, with some available for purchase. Come in costume—any era—and participate in an elegance contest for adults and children, with a prize to be won. Explore the historic Petit Anjou train station and take a short train ride.
