Venetian Festival at Château de Brissac

For the third time in Anjou, the Venice Carnival was held in Brissac. Come and relive the magic, eccentricity and authenticity of 18th-century Venetian festivities as if you were on the banks of the Grand Canal or in the ballroom and garden of an Italian palace. On the afternoons of a beautiful Whitsun weekend, the park, salons and ceremonial rooms of Brissac welcome 80 actors in period costume and music for a sumptuous recreation of the great festive hours that enchanted Venice 300 years ago. Costumed dances on the lawns, strolls, skits and masked role-playing are just some of the surprises awaiting visitors as they enter each room of "France's highest castle".
