On the former slate quarry site in Trélazé, the association "Les Amis du patrimoine Trélazéen" (Friends of Trélazé Heritage) invites the public to take part in a 2-hour walk, complete with commentary, to discover the 6 centuries of slate quarrying, its transformation into roofing slate, and the hard work of the slate quarrymen.
Practical information
The Association reserves the right to cancel tours in the event of bad weather or unforeseen circumstances.
Visits outside Sundays can be organized on request, with a minimum of 6 people and a maximum of 25 for the group.
