Opened to the public following restoration work carried out in 2025, the Ronceray abbey church is now open to the public, either on its own or as part of a regular program of cultural events.
A jewel of Romanesque art nestled in the heart of the Doutre region, the Ronceray abbey has had an eventful history since its foundation in the 11th century. Occupied by nuns until the French Revolution, it was then used by students at the Arts et Métiers school, before being bought by the town in 1998. Opened to the public following restoration work carried out in 2025, it is now open to the public on a self-guided basis, or as part of regular cultural events.
