1006 is an urban winery created by Pauline Lair in 2020. Since 2021, she has been vinifying and maturing the grapes of her partners (winegrowers/vingerons) located all along the Loire, from Muscadet to the Côtes du Forez, with an essential respect for life. Pauline Lair - Founder & Winemaker "As a great lover of the Loire, what inspires me is the chance to create wines that are light and sincere, reflecting their homeland. I use natural processes to vinify my partners' grapes. This is achieved through the use of indigenous grapes with little or no additives (sulphur), undogmatically, to make delicious wines, bursting with life. Cheers!" Living wines Thanks to sustainable partnerships with winegrowers working in absolute respect for life, according to the specifications of organic farming, 1006 interprets the terroirs of the Loire as it selects and monitors the plots dedicated to its wines all year round. Urban winery Harvested by hand, our grapes are carefully transported to our urban winery in the centre of Angers. Here, they are vinified, matured and sold on site.
