The Rochefoulques ferry at Rives-du-Loir-en-Anjou is now in operation.

From 21 September 2026, the Rochefoulques ferry crossing at Rives-du-Loir will be undergoing maintenance work until spring 2027. The route will be suspended during this period.

The Loir Valley by bike (V47) 320 km including 32 km in the Angers conurbation between Rives-du-Loir-en-Anjou and Angers This beautiful route follows the course of the Loir from its source to Angers, offering landscapes that invite you to daydream. Stop off in the charming villages along the Loir. Open circuit, under development. Practical information - Starting point: Rives-du-Loir-en-Anjou or Angers - Public transport stop (tramway and train) less than 500m from the starting point in Angers. - Recommended period: March to November - Route not passable during flood periods - Check accessibility dates and times for the Rochefoulques ferry before you leave (in operation according to season).
